Title: Best Data Source for SQL Server dbs?

Hi all,

I'm new to Transformer, and Cognos in general, but I was wondering what the recommended approach is for building PowerPlay Cubes off SQL Server 2005?  There is no SQL Server data source, so would I want to use IQDs or import the db tables into a package and then point to the package as the data source?

1. Import tables in FM (Framework manager)
2. Build the required model on these tables.
3. Create IQD's from the model.
4. Use IQD's to feed the cube (using Cognos connection etc)
