Hi everyone,

It is possible in Cognos Planning 7.3 in contributor to copy existing application to the new one ?
I know that in the Contributor 8.4 version there is option to copy application. thanks

Hi marquez

Welcome to the forum. Version 7.3 is quite a long time ago, but if you rightclick the app do you have options like 'Remove' and 'Import/Upgrade'? If yes you can try to 'import/upgarade', select the old app and import it as a backup version.

"Import\upgarade" option will be the best to copy existing application to the new one.

Hi,

Import\copy existing application to the new one go fine but i have small problem :-)
When i am starting new application in the contributor i see old name on the left up corner of the window :/ how to change that ?

you will have to change library name too if i remeber correctly. i saw kb doc long back.
