Hi Friends,
I am having an issue when i try to incorporate the dynamic sorting functionality by using the JavaScript.I am using the <Sort Script>, <Load Script> and the <Span> </Span> as suggested in the Cognos KB.
We have summary report and the Detail Report. I am including the Dynamic Sorting in the Detail report.
When i run the Detail Report by itself things are working fine and i am able to see the report output along with the dynamic sorting.
But when i try to drill-through to the same detail report from the summary report then i am getting a blank page (Which is not consistent every time, if i refresh the page a couple of times i get the data).
Did anyone face this situation?
Can you suggest me so that i can get this working?
We are using Cognos 8.4 and the IE Version is 6 Sp2.

Hi,
I applied the same solution on my report on list, the sorting for alphabets is working fine but for the numeric it is showing the wrong output. without considering minus values it is doing the sorting.
Did you get this issue? please advise.
Say I have a list report.I have two columns x and y.
I have a prompt (value prompt) for selecting a value for x and displaying the coressponding report.Now I want to dynamically sort the columns.Say if we click the header of x then x should be descending order and if we click header of y then y in descending.My report is running fine without the use of value prompt .But When I apply the prompt my report does'nt work.pLEASE help me out.
