I've opened cases with Cognos, but will through this out to the group. Over the past few months, PPES has hung about once a week during the same time period each time. We are running version 7.3.1240.0 on a Windows 2003 standard edition server, service pack 1, patches up to November 2008. When the process hangs, the PPADMINTOOL.exe can not connect to PPES to KILL a cube process. I end up killing all of the ppdsweb sessions, then kill the ppserver.exe process and things get back to normal. Has anyone else seen this and what was the resolution?
