Hi,
I am currently working in a cognos 8.1 environment. The property 'create symmetric key' is set to True in both active content manger server and the stand by server(this server contais stand by report server as well).
I am willing to change this property value to False for stand by content manager server configuration. Does this make any impacts now.
my next question is a little wiered,
I haven't found any issues for the last 6 months in these server, even once the server has gone to stand by mode.
Can anybody tell me what was the actual impact could have been occured when this property is set to False in stand by content manger.
