I'm looking for ideas on how we should setup our public and internal portal. I have some ideas but I'd be interested in seeing what others have done... do you have a URL you could share?
It depends on your requirements. You can redesign the entire public folder and My Folder in a jsp page and apply the same security. You can also user iframes to display any report outputs along with jsp page. You can also pass the user credectials from an external site to your customized jsp page.
I have done the above work with dept. of eduction but that is purely internal.
