hi,

In cognos8.3 reports when I try to search the values of a queri item from the filter window, it is returning an error message saying that 'The the item you have selected is not searchable. Please select another package or query item.'

But i am able to get the values if i do a search at the LEVEL of the hierachy.
Anybody faced this issue ? I have attached the screenshot for teh error message.

I believe that the levels are indexed for searching, and the attributes of the hierarchy (Query Items) are not.
