Title: Default Current month data has to be displayed when we run the report

Default Current month data has to be displayed when we run the report in cognos 8.3 report studio.

value prompt is in Report page, when we run the report by default current month data has to be displayed,
later user can select what ever the month data he wants.

Search this forum for default month and you'll get many posts that have suggestion to resolve your issue.

Suraj, i tried ......but i have not found related to default month, can you tell me wht to do

something like : extract(month,current_date) ??
