Title: The connection to the database terminated

When i am running the reports including in a job giving the following error.

"RQP-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlOpenResult' status='-28'. UDA-SQL-0114 The cursor supplied to the operation "sqlOpenResult" is inactive. UDA-SQL-0023 The connection to the "DMI_10" database has been terminated due to an unrecoverable error. ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel".

After the rerun of the same report two or three times the reports are successful.

Please suggest how we can avoid this type of problem.

I had the same on 8.2,  with 8.3 all is fine.

there was no solution for this problem
