Hi all..
I have installed Cognos 8 server in different system and Transformer in my local system..I'm unable to connect to the server...Please tell me steps to be followed to connect to the server..

And can we use delimited text files as datasources to Transformer to build cubes?..

Absolutely, see the transformer user's guide, chapter 3: "Flat files are an excellent data source for achieving fast cube builds."
