Hello,
I have a report that comes back blank when I run it with options in either PDF or HTML. When I go to Page Explorer, Right click on the page and select Run Page I can see the report formatted correctly and with the data I expect.
This report works fine in 8.1. There are lots of queries and conditional formatting in this report, but another one just like it runs fine.

I've had a similar problem, if I schedule a report or use run with options some of my columns return blank. However, if I run the report interactively the data is populated. It's only with this one report, it has several queries as well. I've been working with Cognos Support, but we are basically to the point where they are saying it's a bug in 8.3.
Probably not the response you were looking for, but good luck. For the time being, we set the action of the report to be run when a user clicks on it and it solves the problem. Just a pain since it can't be scheduled.

Hey Lisa,
I don't actually have a bug number yet. Cognos is asking me to recreate the issue with Cognos data in order to submit it as a bug, and we haven't been able to recreate it with sample data. So it's kind of in a standstill, if I end up getting a bug number I will post it.
It's only happened in one report, so we haven't made it a priority yet so I'm hoping it never happens again.

I think the reason no data is returned has something to do with the prompt value. This value displays on the report fine in the heading. When I replace the ?prompt? with an actual value the report works.
Are you using a prompt?
