Hi,
I am trying to publish from a table-only Layout from one of our applications into a SQL 2005 DB. I select the cubes i need and the elist items i need. When i click publish i get a message
"The dimension for publish '1 Balance Sheet Items' for the cube 'Balance Sheet' is too large. Please select a smaller dimension for publish.
Is there anyway around this?
Regards,
Steve
If the message says the BS dimension is too large (which will be the number of fields in your database after publishing) I guess that you do have many accounts in this dList. If so, this dList is not a candidate for being a 'dimension for publish'. Normally you do want to have your accounts in one field in the database.
So just select another dimension. Which dimension are in your BS? E.g. you could take versions if it is only a few of them. If there isn't an appropriate dim just add a new one-item dList to you dCube (which does not affect logic and size) and select this one as dim for publish.
