Title: Drill through Problem
Post by: lie-sa on 24 Oct 2008 02:38:13 AM
Hi ...

I had another case to solve.

do you have an idea about drill through?

the situation is:

A reconcillation report  and a drill-through report are given.

the problem is: 2 values of monetary column in reconciliation report does not give the exact break down that make up the specific amount when it is drill through.

The drill through report only shows half of the amount shown from the reconciliation.

Do you have an idea how to show up the rignt calculation or break down of the specific amount when it is drill through?

Teachers Please guide me.. ..

Your shared ideas really a big help for a newbei like me...

Thank you so much...

I've run into this issue before and found that there were filters in the source report that were not set up in the target (drill through) report.

  Hi,
  Please verify the below.
  a) Drill through definitions in target report.
  b) Filters in source report.
  c) Run the source report individually. If it is fetching correct data individually (i mean apply the filter and run the source report individually ) then problem with drill definitions.

Could you please try to explain how you done the drills.

Thanks - Elisha

Hi Elisha,

The report that i'm handling now  was made by another person.
An error only occur with 1 row who doesn't  show up the breakdown of a specific amount.
This is the issue that was passed on me to solve.

Thank you,

Liesa -
Did you verify the items elisha suggested above? What were the results for each?
