Title: 8.4 No Active X?
Post by: ashishberry on 17 Oct 2008 09:53:23 AM
I realize that Cognos Planning no longer uses ActiveX. Does anyone know if they are using a different browser plug-in, and if so, what plug-in are they using? :o

Thank you. Do you have any additional information on the java client or know where I might be able to do a little more research?

Thanks! But I need to document this information and will have to provide factual proof. Where are you getting your information? I've run through Cognos's support site and was unable to any document detailing that it's all the information you provided...can you please tell me your source?

Planning 8.4 is in FCS status, which means not everybody can get it's hands on it.
Untill the product is in RTM, i cannot go any deeper, sorry.
