Title: What type of databases supports what type of functions

Hello,
What type of databases supports what type of functions in cognos? I heard that some cognos functions doesn't support to some particular databases? Just i want to know what are the oracle supportive functions and SQL server supportive functions and if possible Netezza & teradata also?

Honestly, this too much. Just open up report studio and you will find all the RDBMS functions you can use, Cognos, Oracle etc. It is just there, listed and sorted  ;)

Yep... or support.cognos.com has the information.
Cognos by itself has many functions that work regardless of what database you have.
If you want to use some functions that are database specific, it can be made available in the package publishing steps or for advance functions, use direct sql.
