Using version 8.3 and getting Error While trying to view the report in Excel 2000 from Report Viewer ( Problem during Load....Missing File..)
Here is the scenario.
From Cognos Connection, I ran the report in HTML format
From Cognos Report Viewer, I tried to open the report in Excel 2000...Prompted to Save or Open...Tried Both...and ending with the same error (Problem during Load....Missing File..)

Let me know if there is any Microsoft Patch available for this issue....I searched and didn't get any useful stuffs...
Also Tried the following option..Didn't get any solution....
Open Cognos Connection.
Click Tools menu in the portal and select Server Administration
Check Services for Type (All services appear)
Select Set Properties for ReportService
Select the Settings tab
Find the property named Advanced Settings, and click the Edit... link
In the first empty set of boxes, type in the parameter name RSVP.FILE.EXTENSION.XLS and set the value to TRUE
Press OK.
Open Cognos Connection.
Click Tools menu in the portal and select Server Administration
Check Services for Type (All services appear)
Select Set Properties for BatchReportService
Select the Settings tab
Find the property named Advanced Settings, and click the Edit... link
In the first empty set of boxes, type in the parameter name RSVP.FILE.EXTENSION.XLS and set the value to TRUE
Press OK.
Restart the service.
