Title: [Unsolved] Cognos Configuration

Getting this error on trying to save the Cognos Configuration file (we have an encrypted site).

[Cryptography]
1. [ ERROR ] CAM-CRP-1056 The configured security provider does not support the confidentiality algorithm: '3DES'.

Causing this error in ReportNet

DPR-ERR-2080 Firewall Security Error. A security firewall error occurred. Error status: {0}
"412, 401, 442, 404"Ã, 

Ã,  Please try again or contact your administrator.

We have just upgraded to version 1.1.414.8 today and since then we get these errors..........

Have you turned the Cognos Firewall off?
Btw... are you using DES as an Ecryption. Maybe it's only DES instead of 3DES...

Have tried setting the"Enable CAF validation?" to both true and false and get the same message, I did some more investigation last night and it appears that the problem is being caused by the 168 bit encryption.
By changing "Confidentiality Algorythmn" and "Supported Ciphersuites" options under Cognos->Cryptography back to the default 40 bit encryption this works but at 168 bit it does as the message indicates that 3DES encryption is not supported.
cognos support here in the UK are looking at the problem but I am not hopeful they will be able to come up with a solution.

Than me neither don't know... What about the status of this topic? [Unsolved]? Because if you don't have a solution within 2 days most of the time there won't be a solution :'(
