Do you expect anyone to take interest in 20-80 MB management information? These amounts of data are more in the realm of databases, datawarehouses and ETL processes..

Both these are high affinity processess...more over I think excel has a limit of 65,536  rows per page....ask your admin to change the settings and try. ..but I agree with BLOM....

65,536

is the limit for Excel 2002/2003. The latest Excel 2007 version has a much larger capacity, but information is stored in a different format (xlsx).

What I feel is , the output of Excel from a cognos will be 2002 format.
