Title: Kicked out of Analyst
Post by: kathy.schmid@plexus.com on 08 Sep 2008 05:07:16 PM
We have a large number of libraries.  There are four Analysts that build models in Analyst.  We continually get kicked out of Analyst when we save our work.  It doesn't happen every time we save but probably 50% - 75 % of the time.  It varies - some days it's a lot and others it's infrequent.  It doesn't matter which one of us is working, which library we're working in or what we are doing.

We have tried to get the error log read but they can't give us an exact explanation as to why this happening or a solution to the problem.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Never had sooo many crashes. Are all your models consistent (IDs & references)?
Does it also happen if there is only one user working in Analyst?

How many libraries do you have?
Where are they stored, and what is the bandwidth between analyst and the library storage?
