Post by: marekvich on 08 Aug 2008 07:19:02 AM

Does anyone know where's the problem?

Have you tried the KB solution tip:
1: Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Service;
2: Double-click "Cognos 8 Planning 8.3";
3. Switch to Logon tab, change from Local system account to This User, assign a named account that has both local administrative right on the box and valid OS signon in the Series 7 namespace.
4. Click Apply and restart the service;
5. Repeat 1-4 for "Cognos 8" service.
?

Else you might want to try to use an 'Execute command line' macro.

I tried solution with changing from local system account to user admin account for both cognos services but nothing changed (same error occured).

Anyway, thanks for your tip!

Did you also try executing an Analyst batch by the Command line macro? Depending on your version the batch executor file is named something like 'CEPBatchUtility'.
