Hi we have three events that we cannot delete from Cognos Connection. If we try to delete the objects the Cognos service stops responding. The service also stops responding if we try to deploy the packages that contain the objects.
We have tried two options:
1. Ran the dbCheckConsistency.sql script in the configuration folder. No errors were found.
2. Tried exporting all packages except the packages with the bad objects but unless the full content store is exported, user account details are left out.
Does anyone else have any ideas? Its really scary having these events in our content store!
Can you provide more details?
1. Which Cognos version you're on
2. What's your Content Store database (oracle, Sqlserver, etc)
3. What object you were trying to delete? is it just RS reports or series 7 cubes or QS reports?
Geez... i started to sound like cognos support :p anywho, we would be able to help if we got more details on it...
