Is it possible to add a "New Page" that all users will see?
Currently when a new user signs on they see Welcome, Public Folders, and My Folders. I want to add aÃ, "new page" with our Intranet on it and make it visible to all users.
As I can recall correctly that ain't possible... Unless you're gonna add the page manually to each user's login. What you can try to do is to trace the generated sql for adding a page and run that query for all users....
This functionality will be available in Series 8. In the meantime grab the free MyPages Copy Utility from my website.

I did figure out how it could be done by modifying the XML in objprops14 in the content store. This is far from nice and easy though.
Also, if you modify the mypage-update.xts and create a new one you could nearly do it this way if I could just figure out the logic of how to add a portlet to new page.
Could you create a small How-To on that.. That would be very helpfull to all of us...
What would you like a tutorial on? I stopped after figuring out 80% of it since Darek said it will be in 8 and I am lazy :)
