We have cognos server. The server is going to have Datamanager, reportstudio,metric studio, framework manager and metrics manager etc..
First we wat to install the Datamanager 8.3. We want to have Dataengine should be at server designer at client. I read the document if i have it on multiple computer , Datamanager network services should be installed with data manager engine. Should i install Datamanager network services in client also?
What about Data movement service. I dont understand.
Next thing is. if i have all cognos product at one place, is there any chances for conflict with services?
Please let me know. I want to start installation tomorrow. This is first time i install datamanager. I am very new to datamanager but very strong in report studio

Have you read the Installation Guide? I have not done the install in over 18 months, but I recall it being spelled out quite clearly on what is needed on both the Engine and Client sides.
Note... if you are also using the Cognos Performance Application Console, you can't use a remote database engine server... that is not supported along with the console.
Fortunately we do not use performance application ( my understanding is connector for SAP, JD edwards etc). The document says default installation support all cognos product. I will let you know tomorrow or next day.

It seems to be an app to schedule the Jobbuilds, but is there any User Interface?
