Dear Cognos Experts,
I have a problem with Analysis Studio. I have done one analysis report and save it into packages folder (e.g Sales). It is even a simple list report. After that, I always get error message everytime I attempt to open the report. This is the error message :
RQP-DEF-0177
An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlPrepareWithOptions' status='-90'.
I have checked and nothing is wrong with my package or database. Can anyone help please ? Thanks in advance

If this is your complete error message, try to set you level of logging one step higher. You should get more information in the cogserver.log file on you server.

Let me explain more what I have done. I work on my local laptop using Windows XP. I install Oracle Database, Cognos BI Server and Modelling on the same machine which is configured for local usage. I use default security given by cognos installation (no active directory).
The configuration seems work very well since I can create models, packages and publish them to Cognos Portal. I also can create query using Query Studio, run and save it into default folder where the package exist. I can do the same things using Cognos Studio as well. Thus, I can open my query or report anytime I want it.
Unfortunately, I've got the problem with Studio Analysis. When I finished my analysis report and save it, after that I can't open or run it. The error message is always raising. :(
Where I can find Cognos document regarding this issue ? I have read some documents bundled with the software but didn't find the solution. Is this security matter or something else ?
Need advice pls.

Analysis Studio is supposed to be used with a powercube or a DMR package. If you state you build a simple list report I assume you're refering to Report Studio? Aren't you trying to use Analysis Studio on the wrong source?
I use Analysis Studio with a package generated from Framework Manager (i.e. Sales package), as well as Query Studio and Report Studio. Everything is ok until I save my reports. I am facing a problem when I open report that created by Analysis Studio. I can't open the report which I've already saved and always get error message as I mentioned above.
