Hi All,
We are using report studio ver 8.2. Am having trouble creating a very simple master detail report with 2 list reports for both master and detail. When i create the master-detail relationships between the 2 , the detail displays data only for the first record of the master. Have been trying different methods and followed steps in user guide , but does not seem to help.
If anybody knows the steps or could point me to a proper step by step documentation for this version of report studio, i would appreciate that very much!!!

Your Master Detail appears to be working as designed based on your brief description.
What we have is sales order master with header and sales order details with line item details. All i am trying to do is display header in list 1 and the details for every Sales order in list 2. Am not sure why but the the detail in list 2 shows only for the first Sales order in list 1 even though all Sales order gets displayed in list 1.

Are these separate lists? For Master-Detail to work properly the detail list needs to be inside the master list. If you just want to list orders in one list and items in another, you don't need Master-Detail; just apply the same filters to both queries.
