Title: Warning duplicate elist item caption - but it is NOT!
Post by: craig_karr on 21 May 2008 09:55:32 AM
Has anyone of you experienced that you get warnings when importing an elist to an application, claiming that there are duplicate captions when it isn't? I have an e.list that won't be imported without warnings which means that we cannot import it with a macro. All the captions are unique but still Contributor claims that there are duplicate items. In some cases there seems to be the case that a parent has the same word in the caption as one of its children (for example "Treasury" and "Treasury Estonia") but in some cases I don't see any logic at all.

problem solved. the thing is that there is an existing elist in the application so even if all the captions in the list that is imported are unique, there is still a chance that they might be duplicate to some items in the already existing e.list.
