We are trying to use the Cognos SDK for our project.I havent worked on Cognos SDK and I hope this is used to integrate Cognos Reportnet with any other application(java,vb,.net). I guess I am right ?
I just have few questions..
Does the Cognos SDK component come as separate product that needs to be installed or it comes with Reportnet installation
And also I need to give an estimate to the client,I want to know how much time it would take if i want to call a particular cognos report with parameters passed to the report using the cognos sdk.
Please reply me with the following information.

The "SDK" comes as a separate package to download and install. It mainly contains DLLs and JARs to be used in your programming environment.

There are lots of examples coming with the SDK-package. Also there are lots of examples in the KB. Your request to "run and save a report" is just one of those. So, it's there already. Not much time required to get it running - as long as you are familiar with Java, VB or .net and the SDK itself.

Thank you very much for the information ! This solves most of my problem.
Also I would like to know some more about this sdk.Are there many versions of this sdk.Is the reportnet sdk,cognos sdk and cognos web services sdk different from each other or they are same.
Please let me know.
