Title: conditional variable
Post by: Maple on 10 Apr 2008 04:07:19 PM

Hello,

I have acrosstab report and i want to hide the column 'A' and rows 'A' from the table. Is there any one can help me to hide this by using conditional variable.

__! A   B  A  C   A
A a__!__!__!__!__
A b__!__!__!__!__
B a__!__!__!__!__
B b__!__!__!__!__

Hi Maple,

The only way I can think of doing this is to blank out the columns/rows using conditional styles. I don't think there is an option to hide the column/row. The render option applies for the entire crosstab and not for row or column. I guess it would be better to exclude the column/row in your selection criteria (query).

Just curious to know what you are trying to achieve here??

You can create a conditional variable and then set box type to none for rows and columns in that condition.
