Title: Prepare for Import Data
Post by: charb on 10 Apr 2008 09:16:45 AM
Hello,

I created an Application in the Contributor Administration. I loaded the e.list, the user classes and the user rights. Now I am in the import data process, but I get always an error message at the preparing step.

The message says:

"The prepare job has not been created.
Test e.list item is not a leaf item."

Had anybody the same problem or an idea why the error occurs?

Thanks
Chris

Did you do a gtp before starting import?

I've not seen it myself but the message suggests that the import is trying to load to a parent node (which won't happen - imports are to "planning" nodes -- lowest level children -- only)

As I believe yukd is suggesting, I would not load structure and data in the same GTP cycle.

I got the same problem while importing .
Pls check the import file for corrections on the names of the d-list or -elist or any other . Since the name in import file doesnt matches with the name in the contributor application , it doesnt recognise the elist item so gives and error msg. Check the spellings of your elist item as if they are an exact match in cont application . even as blank space matters most.
