I'm using jmeter 2.3.1 to tune cognos 8. Have loaded the stability.jmx supplied by cognos but am having trouble getting it to run the reports. Logon is successful.
The GET command linke when copied and pasted into an IE browser successfully runs the report but fromk jmeter, it returns HTTP 404, page not found. Was wondering if anyone has successfully used this script with jmeter?
We are also trying to get JMeter to work with Cognos 8 (8.4) and have noticed that the URL syntax has changed from the time when the stability.jmx was created. I have got the script to work by modifying the script. To get the script to work, I did some recordings to see the syntax being used to get the reports to run. Based on the responses however, I am still skeptical of wether I am retrieving all that is required to have a successfull report execution. I am getting the responses for the assertions to pass, but not seeing report results in my responses.
I know JMeter is not a browser, but should I be able to see report results somewhere in the responses?
