can any one give me the details on Bursting ?

Scenario1:

I have a table in the database , which has Email ID and Messages, so i want to send the notifications to all the email Id with messages on hourly. Is that possible with Bursting or do i need to go to any other options

Apply bursting you problem will be solved
and the other way is Scheduling thru Unix shell scrpiting (little complicated)

Bursting will do. BUt you better have an email server that can handle burst every hour.
