Since a recent update to Cognos 11, the default drill behavior in our reports has changed. Previously, when clicking behind an element in a hierarchy, Cognos would expand the element directly below it, similar to the "Expand Member" function in the menu. However, now it expands the entire underlying hierarchy node and omits certain elements within the hierarchy.
We would like to set the previous behavior as the default for all employees. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a way for administrators to revert to the previous behavior across the board?
I see you posted this in "Content Explorer - Portal". By hierarchy, do you mean the folder structure? So you're clicking on a folder and seeing some strange behavior?

Check the settings for the drill behavior. They might have changed.
Click on the Report icon , in the 'Data' section of the properties, click 'Advanced drill behavior' and check all settings there in all 3 tabs.
