Does anyone know the name for the second toolbar down from the top of the Reporting UI?
I'm asking about the one immediately BELOW the blue Application Bar.
I know that at least the middle part of that toolbar where the "Report > Pages" selectors are at is at times referred to as the "Navigation menu". Is that the name of that entire toolbar?
In the 11.2 Reporting User Guide - and on the matching section posted on IBM's webpage - there is no name given for that bar. Both print and online references simply indicate:
"The user interface
You enter IBM Cognos Analytics - Reporting by creating a new report or by opening an existing report in
the Cognos Analytics portal.
The following table describes where you can find features and functions in Cognos Analytics - Reporting.
Table 1. Cognos Analytics - Reporting function mapping"
...and then both references jump into a table listing the options in that section of the screen like "Save as", "Run", and "Undo Redo".

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the official terminology, but I always refer to it as the Navigation Bar. It has more options on it than the pure Navigation Menu (eg Edit/save/share etc) but for want of a better name, to me it is just the NavBar. If I am coaching people on the UI, that's what I call it.
Cheers!
MF.
That's my leaning for now MFGF.
Maybe I can corner Rachel on one of IBM's "Ask me anything..." events and pose this trivial question.
If you open web tools (F12) and locate the element, you can see:
<div hal_paneid="AppToolbarPane"
So maybe it's the application toolbar?

I was going to do a "like" on this answer, but it looks like the option has disappeared since the forum was updated recently.
Cheers!

Well with that forum feature gone now, I guess I won't like your answer either dougp.
:P
Thanks for sharing that research though.
