Title: I can't seem to get my Dashboards Column Visualization to render as "clusters".

Is it possible that Dashboards 11.2 just doesn't have a "cluster" bar or column presentation even though Reports does?

Is there a properties setting which I missed?

Hi,

By "cluster", do you mean multiple coloured bars/columns for each value on the Bars axis? A "normal" bar or column chart supports this - just drag the relevant item to the "Color" drop zone of the visualization.

Cheers!

MF.

Thanks again MF - the Color drop zone did in fact work on two random visualizations.

The couple of databases I've been working with were all very...sparse.  So none had a big variety of data combinations.  My few attempts at using the the Color drop zone actually could only render physically separated (distanced) bars which happen to be in different colors.  Yet, I was expecting of course to see bars which were "touching" each other.

I found another larger more comprehensive database and tried the Color drop zone again and it work as I needed.  There was a large enough variety of data such that I could see the "clusters".
