From time to time all scheduled reports stop running and we have to do a FULL restart the Cognos services (restarting just the CM does not fix the issue). Not sure why this happens, but restarting always fixes the issue. Now all of a sudden, our scheduler is stopping every day. Can't find anything in the logs, it just stops, and a restart is required again to jump start it.
What I am seeing when the scheduler stops is reports show in the upcoming activities window then when they are due to run they vanish and nothing shows in the past activities window. And of course, the reports never run. Nothing in run history either.
Does anyone know why this happens and what could be causing it? Corrupt scheduler table perhaps?
