Title: Cognos Report Studio - Hide a List 1 if no data on List 2

Hi Cognos Experts,

I have a reporting scenario .

Requirement : There are 2 list List 1 and List 2 pointing to different queries connected with Master Detail Relation Ship .

Need to hide List 1 if the Row Count in Lsit 2 is Zero basically , if List 2 has No Data then List 1 should be hidden .

I tried to create a variable but the list one does not associate the variable .

PLease share your thoughts and expert advise how to approach this requirement .

Sounds like you need a render variable. Possibly based on a count from List 2
