Can anyone advise if what we need to do is possible at all, or suggest any alternatives.
We have Cognos running on premise and want to connect to an RDS (AWS) SQL database. That should not be a problem.
We have to use windows authentication for the connection but only want one AD account on the connection. It cannot be the service account that starts Cognos as a service (otherwise we'd use the service credentials option) , so need to see if there is a way of hard coding an AD account when we select External Namespace without it prompting every time we want to run a report.
Any thoughts ?
