Title: Issues with Schedule Management
Post by: B on 19 Feb 2008 04:26:29 AM
Hi guys

Am throwing myself on the mercy of the forum on this one as I'm rather confused by a problem that I'm having with scheduling reports in Reportnet.  I appreciate that most of you have now moved on to the brave new world of C8 but I can but hope!  I have searched the forum and Cognos KB ut nothing seems to fit the problem.

Anyway, back to the issue.  I have scheduled rpeorts that have been running for over a year on my current installatioon.  These reports are running on a daily basis and still do so.  Think that there are about 20 or 30 of them that run daily, then some on a less freqwuent basis.  So all that is good as I know the whole process works.

I have recently tried to schedule some new reports.  If I look in the 'Schedule' tab of Schedule Management, I can see these reports in there.  However, if I try to look at 'View Future Activities' in the Activity' tab, these reports do not appear and they do not run as scheduled.  I run the reports as Administrator so I should have no credential issues when the report should be scheduled.

Any thoughts?   ??? Please feel free to point out obvious schoolboy errors I may have made and hurl insults where appropriate!

Thanks
B

Hi,

One quick thought - who is the owner of the reports?  The Schedule Management tool will show only objects owned by your ID by default.

Regards,

MF.

In CRN1.1 MR4, if you login using admin ID, you can select "Any" from the Scope dropdown. Similarly you do so on the Future activities page also. Any will show you all the reports.
