Title: Disable default login if no token provided for SSO
Post by: Magdalina08 on 03 May 2021 10:22:33 AM
Is there a way to disable the default login for Cognos if there is no token provided for a users SSO. We use LDAP and currently, if a user does not have a token associated, they will be redirected to the default Cognos login where they can try to provided credentials.  Is there a way to turn this off?  Redirect them to an error?  I tried looking this up, but couldn't find any useful information about it.

I haven't done that, but it seems you should be able to use Manage | Customization | Views | Sign in page to define your login page.  It sounds like that page would need to display a message and not as for credentials.
