Hello,
I have just installed Cognos Analytics 11.1.4 (Custom Install) and everything seems to work fine (Service starts, Content Store works, Active Directory works etc). Next step I wish to run the automated IIS Configuration script but when running it (as admin) it says CA Gateway Location: D:\Profram Files\ibm\cognos\analytics ERROR - NO GATEWAY TIER INSTALLED AT THIS LOCATION.
Anyone that has an idea of what could be the issue ?
Best regards,
Oscar

Hi,
When you were using the installer and you got to the "Component Selection" page, did you check the "Optional Gateway" checkbox? It is un-checked by default, and if you don't check it the gateway doesn't get installed (so IIS has nothing to integrate with).

Cheers!

Hi MF,
I actually got rid of that message when I ran the IIS Config from the cgi-bin folder. I tried to use an old one before that I reconfigured that I placed on the C:drive but for some reason that didnt work.
So I ran the IIS config file now with no errors but when I open up the IIS Manager the only thing it created was the Application Pool, nothing more.. No "Default Web Site" or Application "ibmcognos".
I actually found the issue to the second problem. The path for the Default Web Site in IIS Manager was missing "c:\inetpub\wwwroot". Thank you for your time MF, always much appreciated !
