Title: Sporadic Exception in Cognos

Greetings:

Please assist - if any one has any ideas/experience with the following issue:
On occasion, I noticed that the last few days, the following error tends to appear (in Cognos Connection, version 8.2.) when one clicks on the Set Properties icon:

PRS-BLK-0667 
       An exception was encountered when block "renderPage" was executed.

Also, my cognos log file as of a certain time last night now displays 0 KB, although my audit DB has up-to-date data (I can see who is currently running reports, etc.).

On top of that, via Cognos, users are unable to send e-mails, although SMTP test connection comes back as fine.

I have read a lot of the KB documents and still am unable to diagnose the cause of these issues. I am also unsure if these issues are all related or not.

For logging, port is set to something different than 9363, etc.

Please assist.

At the moment (even after logging off & back on), I am unable to view the properties (Actions) via Cognos Connection to any of the objects/items. :-( Anyone ever encountered this issue before?
