Title: Getting Calculated measure value before rollup

Hi All,

We have a calculated measure that calculates number of stores. I need this measure to be calculated before rollup.
I see no option to do so in properties of that measure.
Is there a way to achieve this in Cognos Transformer?

Hi,

If this is a calculated measure, you should see a Rollup tab when you go into its properties? On this tab you should see a Regular Timing dialog where you can select either Before Rollup or After Rollup?

Apologies for the wrong question on my end.
Wanted to know how to apply before rollup for a measure obtained through Category Count not calculated measure.
I am aware of Before rollup option for calculated measure however i dont see the same option for category count.
Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi,

Category Count measures don't roll up - they provide the count of members (categories) on a specific unique level of a dimension. Can you explain what you're trying to do?

Hi MF,

Apologies for the late reply on this.
I am trying to get number of stores/outlets by using category count.
There is slight mismatch in the cube data against database. Trying to understand the reason behind it.

Also, the measure created for this has "Activity Measure" in Rollup tab as 'All Measures' as default value. What kind of impact does this have on the output?
