Title: Audit DB configured but run records are still going only into cogaudit.log

Hi,

I'm running Cognos 11.1.4 and have configured two log destinations:  the default File one to ../logs/cogaudit.log and one Audit to a database as shown in attachment cognos_audit_db_cfg.png. 

Testing those in the Cognos config UI is successful but my report views and runs are being logged only in the file.  I've gone through the instructions a few times now but I don't see what I'm missing.

Anyone have any ideas what's wrong?

I am not able to see you're attachment, but did you also change the logging level parameter values to value 'Basic'. You need to do that through the Cognos Administration / System Logging settings.

Hi hanfrie,

Thanks for the reply but that was from almost a year ago. It turns out that I was just looking in the wrong tables and not having logging settings set to basic did mean that most of the tables were empty.
