Title: Report Performance poor_Error in validation
Post by: chr.93 on 03 Mar 2020 09:15:06 AM
Hello everyone ;D

I have a report that runs, but has very poor performance. When I validate the report i get the following error:

RSV-VAL-0010 Failed to load the report specification. XQE-GEN-0018 Query Service internal error has occurred, please see the log for details.

Do you have any idea how can i resolve this and improve the performance?

Does this give you anything useful:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM90632

or this:

I saw in the logs that it has something to do with the master link relationships. I changed i little the format of the report and improved a little the performance. I don't get that error anymore, however in some cases it is still slow  :-\
However thank you for the suggestions!

Did you check using a DB client that SQL queries generated by Cognos are actually slow?
