does anyone know what kind of compatibility there is between IBM Cognos for Office version 11.0.x and several MS Office environmets such as Office-365, Office 2013 and 2007 ??

The Supported Environments pages provide details for each supported build of Cognos Analytics:

https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-cognos-analytics-1100-supported-software-environments

For the version you need, choose the Software link and then select the Supported Software tab. Look in the Productivity Applications section.
