Has anyone here experienced this error :" ANS-MES-1005 An error occurred while expanding the member" when using Analysis Studio in Cognos Analytics ?
This happens if I open an old Analysis studio report or if I try to create a new one (with any available cube) and then expand any of the hierarchies/levels. If I create a regular report New->Report I get no errors.

I would log this with IBM support - I think there is an open APAR for this issue. You might have encountered it?

Yes I contacted IBM and got it solved now by deleting all the files inside the PMCs folder in the Cognos Analytics installation folder and then reimport/recreate all of the cube packages (was not fun at all). Luckily you could republish the new packages untop of the old, so that the reports connected to the packages wouldn't have broken links and have the source path set again.
