I uploaded an Excel file into Cognos. Now I realize that I did not correctly set whether each column is a measure or not. Is there a way to edit this? (I'm not seeing it.) Or do I need to "update" the file (ie, upload a new one) to get that UI?

Hi Doug,
Depending on your version, there have been different UIs when you upload data. One sure way to make sure everything is set the way you want it to be (regardless of version) is to create a data module using the data. You can then go into the properties of each item and set it to be exactly as required.
If you really don't want to go that far, then deleting and re-uploading should take you through the standard upload UI options.

D'oh! I know better. I'm using 11.0.13.
Thanks for that. That's perfect. Since I'm using these spreadsheets for reports (not dashboards) I have to go through a data module anyway.
