Title: Verifying Security Settings...

Hello, All -- I have been a long time user of Cognos FM 10.2.2. Back in September, I tried to install Cognos FM 11.1.1. After that I noticed in both FM 10 and FM 11, when I start up the program, I get the message "Verifying security settings Please wait...". It just hangs there. I do not know if the 11 install caused this problem or if some other event in Windows caused it, but ever since then, no version of FM works for me. I have completely uninstalled both and reinstalled 10.2.2 alone, and it does not work. I then uninstalled and installed FM 11.0.13 now with no 10 installed, and this issue persists. I really need to get 11 working, but I cannot get past this issue.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?

I could only find this one page -- http://cognossimplified.blogspot.com/2011/10/after-cognos-10-install-not-able-to.html, but it does not help me. I am not using reports from my machine. I am connecting to a gateway and dispatcher on the network.
