Title: Extract Query output in Excel

I wish to view the tabular output in excel for a query in cognos 11 like it was possible in cognos 10.
Fir the moment i have to include fields from the query  in the report page and then extract the results in excel.

Is there any way out for this ?

When you have the results of the tabular data in the viewer, go to Run Excel (also in the viewer).

I cannot find the run options once i have tabular data. We used to have it in Cog 10.

Hi,

If you're on a version prior to 11.0.7 you won't have this option, but from 11.0.7 onwards it's there.

This would be possible reason as we are using 11.0.7 version.
