Title: character displayed as junk in report for a particular character

The project requires to display czech characters. Our database is optim. We have a middle federated layer on DB2 using which our CZE characters are displayed properly.
Now we are having issues with this particular character which looks like a right side arrow(->). The character is displayed properly in FM but as a junk in report (diamond with a ?)

any help please.
